 We all have implementation horror stories to share, and the SCI Americas team has seen the gamut. Installations gone awry, damaged equipment, improper or non-existent safety practices, inferior materials, poor workmanship... 

YIKES! Time to replace this damaged equipment...! 

Can you imagine? This was a 

failed blower for a fume hood. 

Yes, indeed...volatile chemical fumes were backing up into the lab's workspace. Again, yikes!

Here's a major clean room installation inside a brand-new medical device manufacturing facility. Brushed stainless steel cove base tacked on unsealed drywall...instead of solid epoxy floor and seamless epoxy wall transition. Suffice to say, the contractor was required to redo the entire space...

at no cost to the client, of course.

Oh, yes...that's safe. 

This is an actual photo from the 'surprise' safety inspection of the installation team we ultimately replaced. "But-but-but, we were wearing safety harnesses!" 

Yes, of course: harnesses attached to nothing, no hard hats, and using the scissor lift in a dangerously inappropriate manner. A third yikes!
